My writing captures the movement of mind, the transit of soul, the world on its constant brink. I have called Canmore home since 2005; the boldness of the scenery and community here have been a guiding influence in my life and art. Over the past four years, I have invited local writers to come share their work at the fortnightly Migratory Words event. While exploring the pressing issues of my generation, as well as our literary heritage, another guide has been the dictum, “if you tell them truth, you had better make them laugh otherwise they’ll kill you”.
David Eso co-curated the recent artWork exhibition at Elevation Gallery during the artsPeak Festival in Canmore. He will be performing in Calgary Friday, June 22nd, 7pm @ Reilly Park in Calgary as part of the Post-Solstice Bring Your Own Poetry Picnic (https://www.facebook.com/events/273797826050948/ ) and throughout the United States this summer with Montreal poet Chris Masson, as Death by Pedestrian.
